Hector National Exhibit Centre
The Hector Exhibit Centre & Archives is administered by the Pictou County Genealogy and Heritage Society. It offers a location for rotational historical and art displays and exhibits. The Centre also houses local archives and genealogical information which is available for helping visitors trace their family tree or research community history. There is an extensive library of books that pertain to Pictou County, local communities, churches, historical figures, and transcriptions of many Pictou County cemeteries. The resources include local groups and individuals, census, church, and cemetery records, vital statistics from local newspapers, and much more.
