Visitor Information Centre

There are a number of ways to find information about Pictou County and Nova Scotia. One is to browse through the visitors guides that are published each year.

The Northumberland Shore Visitor and Activity Guide is full of "treasures" that will help the far away traveler or keep our locals up to date on what is happening inside our County. Pick up a guide at any provincial visitor information centre. For more information about visiting Pictou County please contact the Destination Eastern and Northumberland Shores at (902) 752-6383.

The Nova Scotia "Doers' & Dreamers Guide" is divided into ten Scenic Travelways which describe the culture, history, and natural features of each area. The Guide lists accommodations, campgrounds, restaurants, museums and attractions in each section. For information specific to Pictou County please refer to Town of Pictou and Pictou County pages within this guide.
