Take the Roof Off Winter Pictou with some February fun at the Pictou Frost Fest. Activities and events all weekend long for all ages and abilities.
Mark your calendars for February 13-16 and get ready to embrace the chill with a weekend packed full of winter magic! From sledding parties to sleigh rides, and hot chocolate hikes, we've got everything you need to celebrate the coldest month of the year!

Friday Feb 13th
Valentine’s Dance, 9-12pm at the Pictou Fire Hall. Dance the night away with DJ Glen Baker. Admission $10. A 19+ event.

Saturday Feb 14th
Pancake Breakfast 8-11am at New Horizons, a Pictou Lobster Carnival fundraiser. $12 adults / $6 children.
Valentine’s Tea 10am-1pm at Northumberland Fisheries Museum. Sweets and tea at the museum. Entrance: $10 per adult, or $5 per child (12 and under). This entrance ticket will get you access to a festive photo booth, as well as your choice of tea, coffee, or juice, and a variety of sweets, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day. This Valentine’s Day, find a partner, friend, family member, or just bring yourself, and join us for some tea, sweets, and good times at the Northumberland Fisheries Museum!

Sledding Party with Horse Wagon rides and treats 1-4pm at McCulloch House Museum. Participate in the Mystery Adventure at McCulloch House. Outdoor and indoor fun.
Sunday Feb 15th
Snowshoe & Cross-Country Adventure 1-3pm at Pictou Fitness Trails. Meet up in McCulloch Education Centre parking lot. Extra equipment will be available if you needed it. Come try out snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Recreation staff will be onhand to help.

Monday Feb 16th
Creative Family Cooking with Quinn Randle, 12-2pm, in the Creative Pictou County Studio at the deCoste Hub. Create your own, bits and bites, kettle corn, bread sticks and yummy fundge. Register at sarah@creativepictoucounty.com. $20 per family. Brought to you by Creative Pictou County.
Family Movie Day: Ice Age: Collision Course, 2-4pm at the DeCoste Centre.
