Public Notice - Water Outage - Thursday, July 3, 2025

The Town wishes to advise residents that due to a new water main connection on Grange Street to Patterson Street there will be a water outage from approximately 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 3. The following streets will be effected:

- Patterson Street from High Street to Cottage Street
- Grange Street - Civics 4, 16

Residents may experience water discolouration and low pressure throughout the Town for the remainder of the day.

The Town of Pictou apologizes for any inconvenience to customers.

Notice: Trail Closed to OHV Riders - July 6, 6am-12noon - Run Event

PUBLIC NOTICE: The Jitney Trail from the Gut Bridge to Brown's Point Road and designated access streets for OHV riders will be closed to riders on July 6, 2025 from 6am-12noon due to the Pictou Lobster Carnival Run for the Lobster. This is due to runner/walker safety participating in the event. The trail and bridge will reopen following the event.
