Commercial Space Available for Lease - 87 Caladh Avenue

COMMERCIAL SPACE AVAILABLE FOR LEASE
Kiosk on Pictou Waterfront
The Town of Pictou is inviting interested companies or individuals to submit a proposal to operate and lease space at one kiosk located on the Pictou Waterfront boardwalk at the marina. The Pictou Waterfront is a vibrant travel destination on the Northumberland Shore and a valuable part of the “Pictou” experience. It is home to the Ship Hector, the deCoste Performing Arts Centre, the head of the Trans Canada Trail and is a venue for community events such outdoor concerts.
Interested parties may submit a proposal that would include the following: insurance, security, commitment to obtain regulatory permits, and staffing. At the minimum, each proposal should include proposed business details and hours of operations. Any added opportunities for experiential tourism would be considered an asset. Submissions must align with the waterfront vision either providing a food type service, experience based business or product that is local made or hand crafted.
The kiosk is located at 87 Caladh Avenue, is 144 square feet, and has a sink and counterspace. The rent includes water and internet. Leasee is responsible for power. There is no food service type equipment included in the lease, this would be the responsibility of the lease.
Of Note: The Town is working on a large capital project that involves the construction of a new wharf and breakwater at the marina location.
